Yes we do within the UK, this is £15. Please note you must place your order by 12pm to receive the next working day. If you order on a Friday you will receive your order on Monday. If you order on a Saturday or Sunday you will receive your order on Tuesday.

Yes, items must be returned unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging. If we receive your parcel back and it doesn’t meet our returns policy we will contact you on how to move forward.

If you would like to return your order or part of your order please fill in the form

If your item is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose please email us at sales@merchantandmills.com. This needs to be done within 14 days of receipt of goods. If you need a replacement form this can be found here.

On the whole yes, but if you are coming to look at something specific it might be worth
emailing ahead of time to check there is stock there.

The shop has a couple of steep steps down into it so it is not currently suitable for
wheelchair users unfortunately.

Yes dogs are very welcome in both the M&M shops.

Yes if you select ‘In Store Pick Up’ at the checkout you can pick up from the shop on
Lion St. Note you will receive a personal email from our fulfilment team to let
you know your order is ready for collection, please don’t go to the shop before
receiving this email. Note the shop is currently closed on Mondays and
Tuesdays.

There is no parking directly outside the shop, but you may be able to find a space on the high street which is close by. There are various pay and display car parks in
Rye. The cheapest car park is very close to the shop and is called Rye Cattle
Market Car Park and is £3 a day. (No parking on Thursday due to a market).

Sure, we made a blog here, which gives some recommendations of places to stay, eat and other shops.

We often get asked if we can create custom items like quilts etc. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to do this. However, our sister company Merchant & Mills sells an array of fabric, often similar or the same to HOUSE, so you can purchase cloth and make it yourself or get it made by a local seamstress.

All of the textile products within HOUSE are designed and made by us, but we are always looking for talented individuals in other areas, for example ceramics, glass or
wood. If you are a maker and would like to submit your work, email michelle@merchantandmills.com.

Where possible we offer a fabric sample for our items, this means that you can check
the colour of the fabric ahead of ordering the item. If there is not an option to add a sample within the product this means there is not one available. Our samples are approximately 6 x 12cm.

There will be care listings on all the individual products. We always use natural fibres in our products so generally would always recommend washing with a non bio
detergent at 30 degrees and not tumble drying. 

Yes you can, we would suggest to machine wash cold separately on a gentle cycle, and do not tumble dry.
