Cotton/Linen Kantha Stitched Quilt Walled Garden

We have designed and made a limited run of these quilts. There is no right wrong side of these quilts, you decide! One side is a small check with emerald green, ochre and cream, and the reverse is a brown garden print which has been printed onto kala cotton. Kantha stitched with a neutral cotton. 

Kala cotton is by default organic, as the farmers do not use any pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. It is a purely rain-fed crop that has a high tolerance for both disease and pests and requires minimal investment. The cotton has a beautiful rustic quality and we love it for it’s eco credentials and raw beauty.

Outer 88% organic cotton/12% linen (print side 100% organic cotton) inner 250 GSM 100% cotton batting. Hand stitched with cotton.

A hand embroidered HOUSE patch is in the corner of the quilt. The patches are hand sewn on in each corner, so you can remove them easily if you so wish. Note the washing instructions for your quilt are tucked under the patch.
